Getting on the Ballot in Tennessee

Tennessee has the lowest number on our list: Diane Sare needs 275 signatures from registered Tennessee voters. Petitions come from the state starting May 19, 2028, and are due August 17, 2028.

A small number doesn’t mean an easy one. In 2024 a candidate turned in 450 signatures and still missed the ballot when nearly half were thrown out. We’re aiming for well over a thousand, and we’re putting the team together now.

Tennessee is where the country proved what it could build: the TVA dams, Oak Ridge, and the reactors at Watts Bar. TVA is now planning a new small reactor on the Clinch River. Diane’s program would build a hundred more.

How You Can Help

We need volunteers to circulate petitions. We don’t rely on paid staff or big donations from Epstein-class billionaires. We need YOU to help us get on the ballot. Here’s how you can help:

Sign.

When the window opens, a registered Tennessee voter’s signature is the whole ballgame. Pledge now and we’ll tell you where to sign the day it starts.

Circulate.

We’ll send you petitions and walk you through it in ten minutes. One person with a clipboard at a church supper, a farmers market or a union hall can collect dozens of signatures in an afternoon. A few volunteers like that in every part of the state is how we get it done.

Host a Signing Spot.

Your porch, your shop counter, your union hall. We list it on this page so people near you know where to go.

Tell ten people.

Send them this page.

Chip in.
